Tips for faster processing
01
Submit with a complete package
Incomplete applications are the main cause of delays. Use the CayDocs checklist and generate all required letters before submitting.
02
Start the 21-day ad early
From 1 May 2026, you need 21 consecutive days of advertising before you can even submit. Start early to avoid holding up your hire.
03
Renew 30+ days before expiry
WORC recommends submitting renewals at least 30 days before expiry. Late renewals create gaps in your employee’s right to work.
04
Use the WORC online portal
Online submissions at worc.ky are processed faster than paper submissions. Create an employer account if you don’t have one.
